Aaaack, I haven't updated my blog for more than a week! ><
College is really taking up my time. Not to mention, my money as well. So many unnecessary things to pay for. Minus printing. Though I think the course rep. over charge us. 30 bucks for a little stack of notes is a RIP OFF!!
It's almost a month since I started college. I'm loaded with an assignment and plenty of tutorials to complete. They sure get into teaching action quick though. Unlike in high school, the teachers wouldn't start teaching until the the week after first day of school.
I ain't complaining. College is way better than high school. Air conditioned studying evironment, freedom to dress as you like..speaking of which, I got access denied from the library a few weeks back because I was wearing a short skirt. To start with, I don't think my skirt is short, secondly, I wore the same skirt yesterday, and the guard let me through!!
Well, there is a slight difference. The other day, it was a grumpy lady who was guarding the entrance and yesterday was a man. lol
On a random note, I made it through the first interview for SBS SWC, which stands for School of Business Studies Student Welfare Committee. I'm going for my second interview next week. Time to dig mom's closet for something formal to wear for the interview.
Some people think that I'm nuts for joining so many societies like..the Music Society, SBS SWC, Career Guidance Society (signing up next tuesday) and having to juggle time with my duties as a class rep. It is a hand full but I believe it will all be worth it (i hope). I just wanna make the most out of my time in college.
I guess thats all that I have to blog about. Time for a nap. I always go to college all freshen up and come home wasted. Most of my classes end late in the evening. Especially Monday. I loath Mondays. First class starts at 8am and last class ends at 7.30pm. Though the lecturer always let us off by 7..perhaps a little past 7pm. But....
I LOVE TUESDAYS!!
why?
Because I only gotta attend a lecture for 2 hours and I'm free for the day!!
