I was just downstairs watching E-channel with mi mama and they were showing a documentary of a celebrity. And, low and behold, the person who was on the hot sit is..
SIMON COWELL!
Interesting aite?
I know he has a lot of haters just because he speaks his mind. But I'm otherwise.
Call me crazy but I think he is HOT! to add up the sexiness, he speaks with an ENGLISH ACCENT!
So, he was talking about how he grew up and he spent his teenage years in a boarding school. ugh.
The interesting part is..he and his buddies were enjoying a drink at a small bar. They were only 15 then. Obviously below the legal drinking age. SO, they got busted. And they were sent straight to the headmaster's office and he told Simon and his friends that they have to face the ultimate punishment...which is..
.
.
.
.
They will be sent home for 3 months.
I was baffled! I am sure he was too then.
I mean, living in a boarding school is like living in the state jail! The only difference is, you don't dress like inmates and the food is way WAY better. So it seems to be more of a reward rather than a punishment.
This reminds me of how my parents used to threaten me that they will send me to a boarding school if I don't behave. Well, they finally figured that the "Santa is not gonna bring you any presents this christmas" threat wasn't effective enough. So, in comes the boarding school threat. It started after my cousin brother from my dad's side got sent into one...and got married at the age of 19. Its not a bad thing. But how it happened is another story. Something in which I will not disclose.
Note to grown ups/ parents/ old folks : Sending you children to boarding schools (prestigious or not) is not gonna make them a better person. Its all about the up-bringing. It is advisable that you give your children early sex ed. or rather known as the 'talk' about 'the birds and the bees'
Speaking of which, I haven't get 'the talk' from my parents. So I was dead curious about why they didn't give me the infamous talk about 'you know what'. So I asked my mom the other day and this is how it went..
Me : hey mom, how come you never talk about sex to me? like, give me "the talk" *does the weird hand sign*
Mom : I don't think theres a need to. You know everything already wut.
Me : How sure are you??
Mom : I am sure your school provides all these talks. I am sure you know all these stuff well enough. So no need la.
Me : 0_0 wtf?!
