Finally got out of my house today. Went out with my aunts. Yes, the two shopaholic-gossip bunch. Grandma tagged along too. Though she was sitting down most of the time because she can't do long-distance walking. Age has already caught up with her. But she is still healthy mind you.
Oh, cousin Joan and her new-beau Tony came with us too. Though my shopping partner of the day is my cousin Rachel.
We went to Ikano for lunch and then later split up because my aunts want to go to IKEA and the rest of us just want to buy..well..clothes.
The Curve was our first stop. And then later we were off to Cineleisure. I don't see what is there to hype about that place because as far as I am concern, that place is dead. BOTH The Curve and Cineleisure. Theres nothing much to shop around except for the restaurants there, which seems pretty nice. But other than that, theres nothing.
I prefer going to Mid Valley although I have been there for like a gazillion times. You can blindfold me and I'll still find my way around that place. Or else, One Utama would be the better choice. More shops. My sanctuary.
My cousin Jo took forever to try out 3 tops at F.O.S. And her bf was like a little puppy trotting behind her. Sweet no?
I got my first taste of GREEN TEA ICE-CREAM. Verdict?
It sucks!! Before I continue ranting about how bad the ice-cream tasted, I want to tell you that Tony belanja-ed the little treat. According to him, its awesome. So I was like okay, I'll try it. I mean, no harm right? It is just ice-cream...
Which suck!! Gosh. I never tasted anything that bad before. Fine. The worst one is celery. I HATE eating celery. bluek.
I took a bite at it. The ice-cream I mean. I straight away made that 'yuck' look. Okay, I know that it is VERY rude to screw-up my face in front of the person who just treated me to RM2.50 green tea ice-cream but I can't help myself. It tasted THAT bad. Atleast I had the curtesy to finish that whole green gob.
I like the cone though. Even better without that green gob of course.
Little licks help ease the taste but I couldn't wait to finish it and get over with. So I sorta bite the ice-cream and boy did I regret it. It tasted eeekkkyyy.....The last bite was even worse. *shudders* But I did finish it. By the way, I drink green tea but I don't like it in ice-cream flavour.
Walked around for a bit. Saw a beautiful black tube dress but I have a huge rib cage so it looks kinda odd on me.
After that, we went to Popular and I bought 2 novels. "Singletini" and "How To Sleep With A Movie Star".
I just started on "Singletini" and so far so good. My aim is to finish it in 3 weeks if I could control myself. I don't want to run out of reading materials so soon. I'll get bored or even worse, DIE OF BOREDOM.
Penang plans are up. I'm off to Penang around early December. Yipee =)
