My body is aching all over everysince I woke up. Did someone continuously whack me with an iron rod while I was sleeping? Either way, I didn't feel anything then..
No la. Its not my period. This is the result of climbing up thousands of flight of stairs, bending down to avoid hitting my precious head on mini stalactites, tripping on stones, walking and crawling in tight spaces with water flow (certain areas), sliding down cave walls (thrilling!)
I spent the whole Saturday morning..in a cave. Gua Tempurung to be exact. It was a trip planned by my mom and her friends. I was more than happy to tag along.

After waiting for about half an hour? the expedition starts~

After about 1 and a half hour of climbing up and down stairs, and getting my leg soaked in little streams, and almost spraining my ankle along the way...we reached a clearing.

The lubang where we came from. Literally laa..don't think dirty >_<

After hanging around that bright spot for about half an hour we make our way back into the cave, and headed towards the opposite direction.
More climbs, more streams, more tripping, and more climbs..
Then we reach this part where everyone had to slide down the slippery cave wall. I bruised my ass in the process. No further details on how it happened.
Among other mini mishaps, I hit the bottom part of my waist on a stalactite while crawling in this dark, watery narrow spot.
After 3 and a half hours, the tour ended. Being the usual clutz that I am, its normal for me to spot a few bruises. Whats worse is that I had to walk in the dark. My torchlight wasn't "power" enough. (mental note : get a bigger, brighter torchlight)
Left the cave around 3ish and headed to a hot spring resort. I forgot the name though. We decided to book a private jaccuzi. I didn't stay long in it. Half an hour was enough to fuck up my head.

The cute little spot where people dip the eggies to cook them.

Theres nothing much at the hot spring resort but the cave tour was probably the highlight of my day. Minus the aching joy that it brings..ughh...
Despite the body aches, I still have to complete my tutorials. 4 classes tomorrow....BMS! oh merde!

4 twinkling stars:
I just found your blog- your adventure looks fantastic! I cannot even imagine that much activity LOL. After running around after the kids all day, I have rub my Topricin cream all over for the aches and pains and pure exhaustion! You should try it sometime. What I love about it is that it is all natural and you don't have to take pain relievers like Tylenol or Ibuprofen all the time. Anyway- hope your aches go away soon! Your cave adventure looked so beautiful :) Caroline
I miss you lar dammit!!! :(
thanks Caroline ^^ though i'm not sure if that cream is available here >_< but the aches are gone now. hehehe but i'll keep that idea in mind =] xoxo
