Sing Along If You Can.

I feel so....empty. Its like all of my burden are lifted. What am I talking about you asked? Well, the exams are over!!! I got so much free time but I don't know what to do with it. Its pure torture to watch my precious time fly by like that.

But what could I do? I can't go shopping everyday. Thats sinful...

I ran outta books to read because I always finish them fast. Sometimes I wish that I could just read a tad slower but I can't because I will feel stupid. Reading slow makes it hard for me to absorb the words. But I don't have any problem when reading fast.

So..yeah...any suggestions on how to spend my new found freedom?

Today was the 1st round of Saujanian Idol. There were good singers and of course..BAD ONES TOO. Mostly bad but I'll give credits to them for having the guts to go on stage.

The whole thing was pretty hilarious if you ask me. There was this chinese boy who was dueting with an indian girl. They were singing a song by Rihanna ft. Neyo. The girl was pretty good but the boy..er..try thinking of a nerd rapping. Thats what he sounded like.

And then theres the boring two-some. 2 punjabi girls belted their flat version of 'What I Was Looking For' from Highschool Musical. Imagine them singing in monotone. Later, it was this malay boy's turn. As he was about to sing the climax of his song, the music and the mic suddenly turned mute. Hilarious I tell ya.

These are the ones which I thought was really funny. Now for the good ones. First up, Geraldine! She was awesome. She sang while strumming her guitar to the tune of Natalie Imbruglia's 'Torn'.

Later it was Imran's turn to perform with his partner, Abu. The both played the guitar and Abu sang. They were suppose to play a song by Artic Monkeys but made a last minute change. Their guitar technique was okay but Abu sounded a little too croaky. But to heck with that. They made it to the finals yo!! So did Geraldine, Jie Hao, Carmen Ong and I can't remember the other one. 22 participants and only 5 finalist will battle it out tomorrow.

I'll be sure to bring my camera tomorrow to get a few pictures for you readers to feast your eyes on. hahaha
