Bursting Bubbles

Today is not exactly the kinda day that I want to go through again.

During assembly, Azleena came up to me and opened her Chamistry revision book and bloody fling a dead dragonfly!! at me. Of course I was shocked as hell but that didn't prepare me for the next big embarassing moment.

Later I was sitting down, chatting away with Selishia and Li-Anne. All of a sudden, Kah Wai pointed out that something was stuck to my shoe lace. I wasn't really bothered by it until Selishia and Li-Annes had this horribly shocked face expression.

It was then that I knew something was wrong. So I panicked like a mad lady on extra dose of crack. I didn't look at it because I didn't have the guts to so I was thinking about the worst. And low and mighty, it was the same dead dragonfly that Azleena threw at me this morning. Did I mention that she accidentally killed it with her book? yeah, she did.

So, I was creating a scene. One more fact about me. I freak out very easily. Couldn't help it, so I sorta started shouting.

me : what the hell is it??!!!
li-anne : dragonfly! theres a dead dragonfly on your shoe lace *that time i couldn't hear properly because I was panicking like mad so all i heard her say was "..fly.....fly"*
selishia : its a dragonfly

I gave her a quick panic look and....

me : *screams* what the..get it away!! *gradually getting louder whenever i repeat "get it away"*
li-anne : omg..
selishia : its a dragonfly..hahahaha..er..how ah?
me : get it away from me..ahhh..yer...eewww...take it off me
selishia : how..how..how.. *spots chun ning* Ah, Chun Ning, help take it away.
chun ning : what? what is it? *look look* Oh....

She just grab a tissue from Selishia and threw it away. My knight in shining...er...tissue?

Apparently, not just a small group of students heard my histeric screams. My friends from the other end of the assembly area heard it too. Well, the rest is left to your imagination.

Ok, lets just say...maybe half of the whole school heard it. And guess what Selishia said to me after that. "I never knew you could shout like that. Cool wei." I was utterly speechless.

And for the whole day, people kept sending me messages to my msn like, "dragonfly.hahaha" and "you're scared of a dead dragonfly.lmao". It was traumatizing okay. I could barely write after that. My hands were a little shakey.

And Yao Joe just love to add another stab to my pride. In class he was like, "dragonfly!!" pretending to hold it but actually he was holding nothing. So I let out a short scream. And he laughed. Bugger. Now I got a minor sore throat.

After that, Liang Wei took it and threw it in the air and said "fly..". Kinda funny in a way but very cruel.

Seriously, I pity the dragonfly because the guys were like trying to scare everyone with it. Can't they just let a dead dragonfly rest in peace. Gosh.

But hey, the bright side is I got my shot in 5 minutes of fame. Come to think of it, it IS funny. Atleast I have something embarassing to tell my kids when I do have one..or two. Holiday has come. No need to worry about studying and all. Until after Hari Raya that is. After that, all the major exam papers are gonna come up.

Speaking of Raya, some malay boys were being incosiderate bastards today after school. They threw fire crackers near the school compound. I think its home made. Totally hate them.
